Yes, Sonakshi Sinha's biggest hit had 4 stars. The film was made on a small budget and went on to earn over Rs 200 crore at the box office. It is none other than Mission Mangal.

Helmed by Jagan Shakti and produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios, Aruna Bhatia and Anil Naidu, Mission Mangal is a Hindi language drama film loosely based on the life of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to India's first interplanetary expedition Mars Orbiter Mission. The film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, and Sharman Joshi in lead roles.

Made in just Rs 40 crore, the film collected Rs 290 crore at the box office. This is Sonakshi Sinha's biggest hit as her debut film Dabangg, made in Rs 30 crore, and earned Rs 215 crore worldwide at the box office. Dabangg 2 was made in Rs 84 crore, and collected Rs 265 crore worldwide, and Rowdy Rathore collected Rs 198 crore against a budget of Rs 45 crore.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha was last in the movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which tanked at the box office.  Despite having an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film failed to impress the audience. The actress will be next seen in the movie Kakuda alongside Saqib Saleem and Riteish Deshmukh. The movie is a horror comedy directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film is scheduled to release on ZEE5 on July 12.
