India’s javelin star Neeraj Chopra scripted history for the nation once again last night after winning the gold medal in the World Athletics Championship 2023, being the first Indian to do so in the history of the tournament.
Neeraj Chopra, often called the ‘golden boy of India’, clinched the gold medal in the men's javelin throw event at the World Athletics Championships held in Budapest, Hungary, after recording a stellar javelin throw of 88.17 meters during his second attempt.
Being a pioneer in India’s athletics space, Neeraj Chopra first rose to prominence when he won the gold medal in the Olympics in the men’s javelin event. Since then, the golden boy of India has expanded on his luxury lifestyle, being surrounded by brand deals and expensive cars.
