New Sports

Breaking, a form of competitive breakdancing, will make its Olympic debut. Karate, which appeared in Tokyo 2020, will not be included. Baseball-softball will also be absent but is expected to return for Los Angeles 2028.

Where to Watch

In India, viewers can watch the Paris 2024 Olympics live on Sports 18 and Sports 18+ channels. Online streaming will be available on the JioCinema app.

Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony on July 26 will be unique. Instead of a stadium event, there will be a river parade along the River Seine, ending at the Eiffel Tower. Around 300,000 spectators are expected to watch from the banks, with millions tuning in on TV.
