For everyone who is watching the 5th ODI between India and New Zealand and finding it difficult to understand why Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma's jerseys have the names 'Sujata' and 'Purnima', here's the answer.

BCCI has partnered with their broadcasters Star Plus in the new campaign called Nayi Soch. The campaign is a tribute to women across the globe and questions the stereotypical norms that hold them back.

For the final ODI of 5-match series the playing XI of the Team India were seen wearing the jersey with names of their mothers. Captain MS Dhoni spoke to Ravi Shastri at the toss saying that he is proud of the players for wearing this jersey for the crucial match. He added that it was high time their mothers get the respect they deserve.

The match will be crucial since both teams have won 2 matches each. Jayant Yadav has made international debut replacing Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah takes place of Dhaval Kulkarni.
