Former Paris Saint Germain and England star David Beckham got into a ruckus with Chelsea vice-president Joe Hemani during PSG's 2-1 Champions League victory at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, reported the Sun.

Manchester United legend Beckham who ended his football career at PSG, was present at the director's box in Stamford  Bridge with his son Brooklyn to cheer for the French champions. Hell broke loose when Adrien Rabiot scored the opening goal for the visitors and the father-son duo started celebrating.  Hemani got involved with the former English skipper and he had to be reprimanded by security staff.

Chelsea confirmed that an incident took place but both the Blues and Hemani denied that he used any rude language or gestures, insisting that he merely told the Beckhams to calm down. Hemani is believed to have been upset at the Beckhams’ response to Rabiot’s goal, with Brooklyn jumping out of his seat and his father applauding.

Here are the highlights of the game

It was also reported that more words were exchanged when Beckham walked past Hemani as they left their seats at half-time. But they saw each other again during the break without any more problems.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the hero on Wednesday, scoring one and setting up another as the French outfit knocked their English counterparts out of the Champions League 4-2 on aggregate.
