Oppo A57 launched in India with 16MP front camera for Rs 14,990

Oppo has launched the A57 smartphone in India. Available in Gold colour option, the new entry-level smartphone is priced at Rs 14,990 and will be available in retail stores across the country as well as e-commerce websites like Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal starting from February 3.

The Oppo A57 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS TFT display which has an HD (1280 by 720 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 ( clocked at 1.4GHz) coupled with 3GB RAM and an Adreno 505 GPU. The device also features 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the camera, The Oppo A57 houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. While the 16-megapixel front camera is equipped with f/2.0 aperture and can shoot 1080p video at 30 frames per second.

The device runs Color OS 3.0 which is based on Android Marshmallow. The Oppo A57 weighs in at 147 grams and is powered by a 2900mAh battery.

It also has a fingerprint sensor which is integrated into the physical home button and comes with connectivity support for dual nano-SIM, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, OTG and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
