Comedian Sidharth Sagar, who was winning the viewers hearts with his performance in a comedy show judged by Farah Khan, has been sent to rehab yet again after reportedly suffering a relapse. Sidharth Sagar had hit headlines in 2018 after reports of him going missing had emerged in the media. However, after a long battle with substance abuse, Sidharth Sagar had finally managed to find some balance in life and started doing comedy shows again. But it turns now, he has relapsed and has been sent into rehab once again.

According to a report in the Times of India, Sidharth Sagar was found in a 'bad state' on August 26 night after he went missing from the set of his comedy show shoot and the cops found him. Soon after, his mother was summoned from Delhi to Mumbai.

Sidharth is a cast member on the show the Zee Comedy Show. Currently, he has been replaced by Jamie Lever.

Speaking to the Times of India about her son, Alka Sagar said, "I was with Sidharth all this while and had recently come to Delhi because my 12-year-old pet was very unwell and I had to rush back home. After I came here I learnt about Sidharth and I was devastated to know and it was a big setback for me. But as I am out of Mumbai I have no clarity what exactly happened to him. I have got him admitted to a rehab but I haven’t got a chance to know what exactly went wrong."

"I am travelling to Mumbai today and will be meeting him, only after that I will have a clarity. I had got a call from the police station that Sidharth Sagar was found in a bad state and he only remembered my name and number and they called me up. They asked me to take him from there. The tragic part is whenever he has got into such a situation none of his friends, well wishes or anyone has come forward to help him. It has always been his parents but he has never understood to value his family. I am a mother and I want him to get out of the situation. I have always been around him and never let him be alone, but unfortunately I had to travel to Delhi for my pet who was unwell and later passed away. We came here and we got a call about Sidharth. I am yet to figure out what exactly went wrong," she added.

It is learnt that Sidharth's parents were living close to him to take care of him. However, in the past, he has made allegations against his parents for illegally withdrawing money from his account and sending him to an asylum.
