The festivities started with pre-wedding events in Jamnagar, continued with a four-day European luxury cruise, and now culminate in the much-anticipated wedding day at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

However, one particular piece of jewelry stands out—the groom, Anant Ambani's lion-shaped brooch featuring a massive 50-carat diamond.
This majestic lion brooch, designed by renowned jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz, was first seen during the pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar. The custom-made brooch features intricate yellow diamonds for the lion’s body and mane, with emeralds for the eyes. The highlight of the brooch is the enormous 50-carat diamond dangling from the lion’s mouth.
In an interview with Forbes, Schwartz emphasized the attention to detail in the brooch’s design. The yellow diamonds were chosen in different shades to add texture and depth to the lion’s mane. The lion sits on a pedestal-like structure made of white diamonds with an Asscher cut, symbolizing being grounded and humble.
The celebrations have been deeply rooted in culture, reflected in the couple's attire, which showcases masterpieces of Indian craftsmanship or pieces with personal significance. Anant Ambani, who founded the animal rehabilitation center Vantara, chose the lion brooch to symbolize his love for animals and his dedication to wildlife preservation. The brooch also represents the couple’s love for each other, with the groom embodying the traits of a lion, including a loving heart and strong determination.
