Ayushmann Khurrana meets Bollywood's OG Dream Girl Hema Malini ahead of Dream Girl 2 release.
Ayushmann Khurrana is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Dream Girl 2. As the release date nears, the actor is currently busy with promotions and recently took out time to meet the OG Dream Girl Hema Malini.
On Thursday, Ayushmann Khurrana and Hema Malini decided to meet up ahead of Dream Girl 2’s release. The two shared stories and laughter and talked about the timeless impressions that the legendary characters as Dream Girl created on the generations. Hema Malini featured in a movie with the same title and now Ayushmann is all set to enthrall the audience with his performance in Dream Girl 2.

Hema Malini became popular as Dream Girl after a poster from her film Sapno Ka Saudagar described the actress as ‘Raj Kapoor's Dream Girl’. Later, she also appeared in a film named Dream Girl in 1977.

Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl 2 stars Ayushmann Khurana in his popular role Dream Girl and Ananya Panday along with Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, and Manjot Singh Abhishek Banerjee, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, Seema Pahwa, and Annu Kapoor in key roles.
Recently in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ayushmann Khurrana revealed he was unsure of Ananya Panday being cast in Dream Girl 2 and said, “I was always thinking that she's an urban girl, and how she'd get accustomed to the milieu of Mathura, a city from tier-2 India. But she adapted really well. Every 10 km, the accent changes in our country. But she was bang on with the accent.”
The trailer of the film which was released recently left fans excited for the movie after seeing Ayushmann Khurrana’s look as Dream Girl. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 25. The promotion of the movie is going on in full swing and recently Ayushmann and Ananya were seen promoting the film at Bigg Boss OTT 2 finale.
