Kartik Aaryan's sports drama Chandu Champion holds well at the box office in first week.
Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion impressed fans and thus even after a slow start at the box office, the film's collection increased with passing days due to positive word of mouth. The film has thus finished on a healthy note.
Chandu Champion opened to ₹ 4.75 crore on day one and went on to collect ₹7 crore on day two. On day three, the film collected ₹ 9.75 crore- its highest single-day earnings so far, and on day four, the collections were at ₹ 5 crore. Day 5 saw a dip, when it collected ₹ 3.25 crore, while day 6 stopped at ₹ 3 crore. Now, according to the early estimates of Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 2.50 crore and according to the makers the film collected Rs 3.01 crore on Day 7.
According to the report in Sacnilk, the film has crossed Rs 35 crore mark within the week, however, the numbers given by the makers show that the film has earned a total of 40.13 Cr. in a week. Overall, the numbers show a healthy run of th film at the box office in its week one. With the release of Kalki 2898 AD next week, it will be interesting to see how well does Chandu Champion hold at the box office.

From Bollywood celebs like Katrina Kaif, and Deepika Padukone to Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, everyone has praised the film and Kartik’s performance. In fact, the fans are demanding a National Award for the actor.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is now awaiting the release of his next film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which also stars Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri. Helmed by Anees Bazme, the film is scheduled to hit the theatres this Diwali. The film is set to clash with Rohit Shetty's Singham Again.
