Junaid Khan reveals who is best actor in family, and it’s not Aamir Khan or Imran Khan

Junaid Khan recently made his grand Bollywood debut in the Netflix film Maharaj and he has been receiving immense praise for his performance. In a recent interview, the actor has revealed who he thinks is the best actor in his family. 

In a chat with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Junaid Khan revealed a lesser-known fact about Kiran Rao’s acting talent. He claimed that Kiran was a better actor than Aamir, who has been in the movies for over 35 years.

Junaid said, “Actually, Kiran is also probably the best actor in the family.” When asked about Aamir Khan, Junaid stuck to his decision. He then added, “I had actually worked with her on the test for Laal Singh Chadha. She was playing my mother. I had done a scene with her so I can tell you that she is by far the best actor in the family.”

When asked if Aamir knew about it, Junaid laughed and said, “I am sure he knows. Whether he is going to admit to himself is not something I have discussed with him but she is definitely the best actor in the family.” 

Junaid Khan is the son of Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta. Aamir separated from Reena and 2002 and married Kiran Rao in 2005. However, they both got divorced in 2021. 

Junaid Khan’s Maharaj also starred Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari. The film though was delayed, faced legal issues, but received much love upon release. Junaid’s performance in the film impressed everyone. 

When asked about Aamir Khan’s reaction to the film, Junaid told Money Control, “He liked the film, and he liked the performance as well. He didn't really say specifically. But when he watches something, he watches it as an audience and watches it to enjoy. Unless you ask him something very specifically, he will not necessarily have any comment on the film."
