Days after Sonakshi's marriage, her father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and the news surfaced on social media leaving his fans worried about him. However, the veteran superstar has finally broken his silence and given an update on his health.

In an interview with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha shared his health update and said, "I am fine, absolutely fine. So much speculation! The Mumbai entertainment media is so starved for news, they write anything."

He further revealed the reason behind his hospitalization and said, "Just my annual routine full-body checkup. I recommend it for everyone over 60. As long as I have well-wishers friends and fans, no harm can come to me."
