Recently, Nana Patekar broke his silence and reacted to Tanushree Dutta's MeToo allegations regarding an incident on the sets of the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleassss. He stated that he wasn't angered or bothered by her claims of sexual harassment, saying, "I don't know what it was about. If something had happened, we would have revealed it."

In response to Nana's remarks, Tanushree criticised him and called him a 'pathological liar.' In an interview with Times Now, she addressed Patekar as a 'big liar'. She added that Nana responded to the MeToo allegations after six years because he might be aware that she is contemplating filing another FIR against him for conspiracy to murder, criminal intimidation, threats, stalking, and causing physical harm. Tanushree also mentioned that Nana appears fearful as his support base in Bollywood has significantly diminished.

She added, "All those who supported him are either bankrupt or have sidelined him. People can see through his manipulations now and thus he comes up with another major gaslight. Responding to a six-year-old allegation! Nana Patekar is a pathological liar."

"Today the whole of Mumbai knows how I was framed and mentally tortured by this Nana Patekar. He is getting exposed totally even in his own circle...thus this is his way to cover up another scandal...one that involves a conspiracy to finish me off," she added.

For the unversed, Tanushree claimed that Nana Patekar had harassed her sexually while they were filming a song of Horn Ok Pleasss (2008). The issue was renewed in 2018 after the actress also complained to CINTAA that year. Nana allegedly got a clean chit from the police in 2019 after disputing the accusations. The actress, who has spoken out frequently about the difficulties she has encountered in the field over the years, was among the first public figures to spearhead the MeToo movement in the Indian entertainment sector.
