Farah Khan Kunder revealed why Aamir Khan wasn't part of Om Shanti Om song featuring Shah Rukh and Salman Khan
At the recently held IFFI ceremony in Goa, Farah Khan Kunder went on to reveal an interesting detail. She went on to state that Aamir Khan was expected to be part of Om Shanti Om song Deewangi Deewangi featuring the likes of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Farah Khan had directed and choreographed Deewangi Deewangi, the superhit song from Om Shanti Om. She stated that she wanted Aamir Khan to be part of the song with Shah Rukh and Salman Khan, but Mr. Perfectionist could not attend the shooting of the song.
Farah went on to reveal, "I wanted Aamir (Khan) in it. I wanted one shot to have the three Khans together. Aamir drove me crazy for ten days. He couldn't make it because he was editing 'Taare Zameen Par'." What she said, however, was a lie which she also had been living for some time till Aamir cleared that he never wanted to be a part of the song.
Just like Aamir, veteran actor Dilip Kumar too was expected to be part of the song. Shah Rukh Khan was responsible for making it happen but due to unknown factors, Dilip Kumar also was not part of the song.
On the other hand, Rani Mukerji, Zayed Khan, Vidya Balan, Jeetendre, Priyanka Chopra, Shilpa Shetty, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Urmila Matondkar, Karisma Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora, Dino Morea, Amrita Arora, Juhi Chawla, Aftab Shivdasani, Tabu, Govinda, Mithun Chakraborty, Kajol, Preity Zinta, Rekha, Riteish Deshmukh, Saif Ali Khan, Bobby Deol, Salman Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta and Suniel Shetty were part of the song. Om Shanti Om also marked Deepika Padukone's debut into Bollywood.
