Mukesh Ambani announced recently that Reliance Industries Limited will walk on a blueprint for its green-energy transition. He told stakeholders that the company had embarked on the transition of business into sustainable and green. Reliance's oil and gas business contributes 60.99 percent of the company's Rs 9.7 lakh crore topline. It is the company's most carbon-intensive business. Prasad is the whole-time director of the company. He has worked with Reliance for 42 years. He has held positions in Fibers, Petrochemicals, Refining and Marketing and Exploration and Production. He leads the E&P and R&M Businesses currently.
PMS Prasad holds bachelor’s degrees in Science from Osmania University and in Engineering from Anna University. He received an honorary doctorate degree from a university in Dehradun. He is also a Director of Network18 Media & Investments Limited, TV 18 Broadcast Limited, Reliance BP Mobility Limited, Viacom 18 Media Private Limited and Reliance Commercial Dealers Limited.
He had been the right hand of Mukesh Ambani's father, Dhirubhai Ambani.
He had been instrumental in launching RIL's Hazira petrochemicals and Krishna Godavari basin achievement. He is the senior-most in the group's hierarchy after the Mukesh Ambani family.His full name is Panda Madhusudana Siva Prasad.
