As the most successful teams of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 - Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings - took on each other, the set was also set for another interesting rivalry. 

Brothers Deepak and Rahul Chahar both found themselves in action but against each other. While Deepak Chahar is a regular member of CSK side in IPL, Rahul was handed his Mumbai Indians debut by Rohit Sharma on Wednesday.

At the auction last year, Mumbai Indians had roped in Rahul for a whopping Rs 1.9 crore, while Chennai Super Kings bought Deepak for Rs 80 lakh.

Both Deepak and Rahul had made their Indian Premier League debuts for Rising Pune Supergiants- a team that was led by MS Dhoni when it started. 

Deepak and his first cousin Rahul, who belong to Rajasthan's Bharatpur, have made their names with great performances in domestic cricket specially. 

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bowl in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Wednesday.

Mohit Sharma replaced Mitchell Santner in the CSK playing XI, while the hosts picked Jason Behrendorff and Rahul Chahar at the expense of Mitchell McClenaghan and Mayank Markande, respectively.
