Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli is poised to receive a prestigious honor as he is set to be immortalized with a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Singapore. This remarkable achievement comes as no surprise, considering that the former captain of the Indian cricket team already boasts a wax replica at the Madame Tussauds in Delhi, which was unveiled in 2018.

The creation of Kohli's wax statue involved an intricate process, meticulously capturing his likeness through the use of over 200 measurements and photographs taken during a dedicated sitting session. This attention to detail ensures that the statue will be an accurate representation of the cricket icon, capturing his unique features and charismatic presence.

"One of the greatest batsmen in history is set to take his place among our sporting greats right here at Madame Tussauds Singapore!" the Museum's Facebook post read.

Other sporting legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Lionel Messi, and Usain Bolt also grace the halls of Madame Tussauds with their wax counterparts. However, it is noteworthy that only three cricketers, namely Kohli, Tendulkar, and Kapil, have been honored with wax statues meticulously crafted by the Madame Tussauds team.

Madame Tussauds, a globally renowned wax museum chain, traces its roots back to 18th-century France. Founded by the talented Marie Tussaud, this iconic attraction has captivated audiences worldwide.

Enthusiastic visitors flock to Madame Tussauds to marvel at the lifelike wax figures of celebrities, historical figures, and cultural icons. Each figure is painstakingly created, capturing even the most intricate details and expressions with remarkable precision.

Immersing patrons in an unforgettable experience, the museum allows them to interact with the wax statues, capturing cherished moments through photographs and even indulging in the tactile sensation of touching these uncannily realistic creations.

With branches in prominent cities across the globe, including London, New York, and Hong Kong, Madame Tussauds has firmly established itself as a must-visit destination for those yearning to catch a glimpse of fame forever frozen in time.
