The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will administer the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for June 2024 tomorrow, July 6. This exam is intended for students who have completed their medical education abroad and want to practise medicine in India.
The FMGE June 2024 will be computer-based and run in two shifts: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Earlier on June 3, the NBEMS issued the admit card for the FMGE in June 2024. The NBEMS has announced a list of exam-day instructions for students who will be taking the exam.

Here's the advisory issued by NBEMS for the FMGE exam:

  1.  Admit cards must be printed on both sides of one A4-sized sheet.
  2. To avoid delays, candidates must arrive at their exam centres before the designated time.
  3.  All required documents must be presented to the examination centre for verification.
  4. Students are not permitted to bring certain items into the examination centre.
  5. If you plan to use medication or medical devices inside the test centre, bring your supporting medical documents.
  6. Keep admit cards and identification cards readily available at all times inside the exam centre.
  7. It is prohibited for candidates to enter the examination hall with coloured or hennaed hands because this could cause issues with finger biometric registration.
  8. Raise your hand to call for help from the invigilator; otherwise, keep quiet and behave properly throughout the examination.
  9.  Finish the test in the allotted time; do not talk or glance at the computer of any other candidate.
  10. It is required of all candidates to collaborate with exam administrators and adhere to their directives; be cautious of dishonest people who might provide unfair assistance during exams.
