Back stage at Star Parivaar Awards!

The recently-held Star Parivaar Awards saw a lot of action behind-the-scenes. When a programme stretches over nine to ten hours, egos are hurt and people even throw a fit over trivial things. A lowdown on the happenings back stage..

Jennifer Winget was coaxed to come to the award show. She apparently got only half an hour to dress for the event and in the process forgot to wear jewellery. Besides that, the actor walked in alone on the silver carpet. When the media queried about her better half – Karan Singh Grover, she claimed he was busy with some work. Somehow we are not ready to buy that.

Divyanka Tripathi was doing a ballet and aerial act during which she almost slipped, but regained her composure and completed her performance.

This year, every artist did daredevil stunts along with trained foreign performers. During the rehearsal everyone has had injuries.

Digangana Suryavanshi aka Veera is reported to have burnt her hair during her fearless performance.

Kanika Maheshwari aka Meenakshi of Diya Aur Baati Hum was miffed with the organisers as the actor, who received an award for the Favourite Mazedaar Sadasya was given a trophy with someone else's name on it!

Ssharad Malhotra made an appearance to cheer for his fiancée – Divyanka Tripathi who won four awards.

The entire Yeh Hai Mohabbatein cast arrived to the award function in a stretch limo.
