If you need to wear headphones for longer hours then comfort comes first in the priority list. And keeping that in mind, Skullcandy tried to provide a complete package with its new Riff Wireless headphones. Priced at Rs 5,999, the company's newly launched product claimed to give better sound quality along with style and comfort, without being too heavy on the pocket. But how credible are these claims? Let's find out.

The first thing you'll notice about the earphones would be that they are an on-ear headphones, meaning the earcups sit on your ears rather than covering them completely like the usual ones. The cushions are super-soft, which definitely is a thumbs up in the field of comfort.

Light in weight, Riff Wireless headphones provide a decent audio quality, which again in the mentioned price is a plus. However, with zero passive noice cancellation, some users might feel disappointed with the product.

One thing which you should know that the pair of Riff Wireless does not offer a wired connection option, so you're only left with the bluetooth option.

Skullcandy's new product is easy to use and comes with a simple three-button setup that lets you control volume and play/pause/power, plus track skipping with a 3-second press of either volume button.

Besides the comfort and good sound quality, surpringly the battery life is also good. The headphones could be used for days without getting a low battery warning. The headphones earn extra points for a quick charging. To give you an idea, a 10-minute charge could last up to 2 hours.

Within this price range, the Skullcandy Riff wireless is a decent headphone with good audio quality and design, however, in case you are looking for anything beyond basic then other options are available in the market, for which you need to shell out some more money.
