Vivo partners with Flipkart, initiates sale of V5Plus limited edition

Global smartphone brand Vivo on Sunday announced its exclusive partnership with e-commerce marketplace Flipkart for the online sale of its limited edition Vivo V5Plus smartphone.

"Today, one cannot ignore the power of the online medium and through this association, we want to give a chance and comfort to consumers across both mediums to own this exclusive product," said Vivek Zhang, CMO, Vivo India.

"The idea behind the launch of limited edition phone was to offer our consumers with not just the phone but an experience they can cherish for a lifetime. We have given strictest attention to the design and feel of the phone and our focus is to offer an exclusive experience to the cricket crazy audience," he added.

The V5Plus limited edition phone that comprises an 18-carat VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) logo engraved at the back was launched by Vivo in Hyderabad on April 4, 2017, as a testament to the completion of 10 glorious years of the country's biggest sporting extravaganza.

Priced at Rs.25, 990, the Vivo V5Plus special edition phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, starting Monday, April 10. This exclusive range of smartphones is targeted at cricket fans and IPL lovers.

Vivo V5Plus is presently available in gold color. The device created ripples in the market with its amazing first ever 20 MP dual front camera that captures the depth of field thus allowing customers to click perfect selfies. The dual lenses of the device, that is, 20MP and 8MP create sharpness on the face while creating a beautifully blurred background which is enhanced by a digital optical algorithm to generate an amazing Bokeh effect.

Additionally, the device features a 5.5FHD display with Corning Gorilla glass and runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 Operating system based on Android 6.0 and is powered by the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core CPU.
