Vivian Jenna Wilson, the transgender daughter of Elon Musk, said Thursday in her first interview that Musk was an absent father who treated her poorly for her being queer and feminine.

Wilson made the remark following Musk's statement that she’s 'dead' with multiple posts slamming the billionaire on his rival’s social media platform. When she was sixteen years old, Musk said he had been deceived into accepting her transgender medical procedures.

In a post on the social media platform Threads, Wilson retorted, "I look pretty good for a dead bitch."

In an interview with NBC News, Wilson, who is now twenty years old, responded to comments Musk made on Monday about her gender identity.

Wilson gave her 13,000 followers more clarification on her position, saying that she had officially disowned Musk in contrary to what he had said.

“I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged,” Wilson said in a phone interview. “Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide,” she said.

She also mentioned in a post on X where Musk described her as 'born gay and slightly autistic,' labeling these claims as 'entirely fake.' Wilson criticized Musk for perpetuating stereotypes and attempting to gain sympathy.

The controversy heated up after Musk's interview with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson, in which he claimed to have been tricked into accepting Wilson's surgery for gender reassignment. Wilson's former name was "Xavier," and he stated that he thought the surgery was necessary to prevent Wilson from ending his own life. Musk called for steps against individuals who backed the "incredibly evil" procedure and urged that they face consequences.

After referring to the practice of "deadnaming"—taking a transgender person's former name without their will—in his comments, Musk has drawn criticism. It was his promise to combat the "woke-mind virus."

In 2022, Wilson, being 20 years old, formally changed her name and gender to her mother Justine Wilson's maiden name.

Due to his ownership in SpaceX, which he established, and Tesla, where he serves as CEO, Musk, 53, is one of the world's wealthiest. Along with his rise to prominence in politics, he most recently endorsed former President Donald Trump for reelection. Musk is a father of 12 children, including Wilson.
