The blaze, which started just before 2:00 p.m., was reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The fire occurred at a recycling center located in the 400 block of West Avenue.

The junkyard, which houses approximately 300 towed cars, became a raging inferno, prompting immediate action from local authorities. An evacuation order was issued for businesses and properties in the vicinity, stretching from Avenue H8 to Avenue I near Sierra Highway.
