Police said Mina Gogoi, 38, one of the oldest women cadre, was arrested by the army at Sonari under Charaideo sub division at Namtola-Ladoigarh.

The ultra who was taking shelter in neighbouring Nagaland was trying to sneak into the state with 5kg of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and a .22 pistol to engage in subversive activity in view of the "protest day".

The outfit observes November 27 as "protest day" as the first army operation was launched in 1991.
