A Malad resident managed to nab three minors who were not only performing dangerous stunts on local trains but were also harassing other commuters. They have been booked by the Kurla Railway Protection Force (RPF).

According to Dipesh Tank, the three boys got into a train at Govandi station, and began whistling. They then teased the women standing on the platform and even tried to hit them as the train started moving. Tank is the co-founder of War Against Railway Rowdies (WARR), a movement launched to encourage women to raise voice against those harassing them on the trains and platforms.

"Later, they started performing dangerous stunts. They continued harassing commuters. As they were really creating a nuisance for others, I decided to get them booked," said Tank, adding that the RPF staff nabbed the accused as they were getting off at Kurla station and took them to RPF chowky.

Tank added that his group members were planning to meet GRP as well as RPF officials to discuss strategy to tackle the growing nuisance of young boys involved in performing stunts and harassing commuters.
