Actress Ananya Panday opened up about how to handle social media negativity and spread awareness about social responsibility. The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress has joined the Threads app to share more about her life, opinions, movies, and her passion for nurturing a safer online community. Within the first couple of hours of joining Threads, Ananya secured over 1.3mn followers. She then was in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) with the @threads account (3.9mn). 

Sharing her views on her ‘digital social responsibility’, Ananya disclosed the idea behind her initiative, “So Positive came from the idea to spread awareness on social media negativity and how to handle it. It’s blossomed into so much more and is really about spreading kindness. I always believe that starting a conversation about something you believe in can go a really long way and you never know how your actions may help someone out there.”When asked about her favourite movies, Ananya revealed that Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Mean Girls are her forever favourites. 

About Ananya's So Positive

On the occasion of World Social Media Day in 2019, the Dream Girl 2 actress came up with her own campaign which is called 'so positive'.The platform would create engagement to inform the broader public about the existing actions to emerge out of the issue. Ananya’s initiative is centred around extending support and providing guidance to people to collaborate with helpful entities such as government and lawyers, to name a few.

On the work front, Ananya will appear in several exciting projects, including Call Me Bae, Vikramaditya Motwane’s next and an untitled project with Dharma Productions. She will also renew her initiative So Positive.
