'Kabir Singh', that's what Shahid Kapoor's Hindi remake of 'Arjun Reddy' will be called

The Hindi remake of Telugu super hit film, 'Arjun Reddy', has finally got its title. Considering its North Indian setting, the Shahid Kapoor starrer has been named, 'Kabir Singh'.

Latest reports suggest that Shahid will play a Punjabi in the film. The 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' actor has reporteldy been prepping for the role since the last two months. He will be seen sporting long hair and a heavy beard in 'Kabir Singh'. The film will trace four phases of 'Kabir', starting as a collegian and turning into a professional, followed by a phase of self-destruction and then reformation. 

Shahid unvelied the first look poster of the film on social media, on Friday. "#ArjunReddy was loved and appreciated now it is time for #KabirSingh! Get reddy to see him in 2019," the actor wrote.

Kiara Advani has been finalised to play the protagnist's love interest. She will most likely join the cast in the first week of November.
