Many Bollywood actors who gained stardom overnight, left the industry due to some or the other reasons and are now living a life away from the limelight. One such actor, who impressed everyone with his debut, quit films and settled abroad. 

The actor we are talking about was touted to be the next superstar soon after his Bollywood debut, however, he suddenly disappeared from the industry and is now living out of India. He is none other than Nakul Kapoor.

Nakul Kapoor started his career in 1998 with the album 'Ho Gayi Hai Mohabbat Tumse’. In the year 2001, he worked on the song ‘Aaja Mere Yaar’ and won several hearts. In the year 2002, Nakul got the film Tum Se Achcha Kaun Hai. This film gave Nakul a special place in everyone's hearts and he became a star after this movie. 

Helmed by Deepak Anand, Tum Se Achcha Kaun Hai also featured Aarti Chabria, Ruchi Bafna, Kim Sharma, and Rati Agnihotri. The film revolves around a love triangle, with Kapoor’s character caught amid a romantic entanglement between a wealthy businessman’s daughter and another woman he loves. The film turned out to be a super hit. 

Following the success of Tum Se Achcha Kaun Hai, Nakul Kapoor set high expectations for his future in Bollywood. Some media reports even speculated that he could potentially rival established stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan and he was touted as the next superstar after the three Khans. However, soon after his debut film, Nakul disappeared from the industry. 

There were rumours of his death going around after his sudden disappearance. It was reported that the actor had passed away in a tragic accident or due to illness. However, Nakul Kapoor then refuted the reports, confirming that he was alive and well. He is now living in Canada and is the owner and instructor at Divine Light Yoga.
