The former actress broke the internet as she shared a video of herself dancing to 'Gali Gali Mein Phirta Hai' remix. Her sizzling moves in a black shimmery gown stunned the fans. She grooved to the track with the choreographer Puneet Cheema.
Sangeeta had featured in the original track in the 1989 action thriller film Tridev, which also starred Naseeruddin Shah, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Sonam Khan, Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri in the leading roles. The sensational track was sung by Manhar Udhas and Alka Yagnik, written by Anand Bakshi, and composed by Kalyanji-Anandji.
The actress chose to groove to its remix version on her birthday. 'Gali Gali Mein Phirta Hai' track was remixed as 'Gali Gali' for the Hindi dubbed version of the 2018 period action film KGF Chapter 1, which was headlined by the Kannada star Yash. The original track was recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Neha Kakkar, with the additional lyrics written by Rashmi Virag.
Netizens were astonished after seeing Sangeeta's viral video. One of them wrote, "Hence proved, age is just a number", while another added, "Salman bhai dekhenge to bolenge aaj bhi wahi baat hai (If Salman brother will see this, he will say she is still the same)."
The former actress was about to get married to Salman Khan in 1994, but she called off their wedding when she caught the superstar cheating with the Pakistani-American actress Somy Ali. In 1996, she quit acting when she married former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin and divorced him in 2010.
