Watch: Rohit Sharma in disbelief after Ishan Kishan drops Kushal Bhurtel's easy catch in Asia Cup clash

Nepal got off to an impressive start in their second match of the Asia Cup 2023 against India at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Monday, September 4th. 

The opening duo of Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh displayed great skill and composure against the formidable Indian bowlers, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj. Additionally, luck seemed to be on Nepal's side as the Indian fielders made several sloppy mistakes early on. Notably, Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli, and Ishan Kishan dropped easy catches within the first five overs, allowing Nepal to accumulate 34 runs without losing any wickets in seven overs.

The Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, was visibly stunned and frustrated when wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan carelessly let an easy catch slip through his fingers. Sharma's expression of disbelief and anger was evident to all spectators.
