One of the hardest exams to pass is the UPSC. A large number of candidates attempt to pass this competitive exam each year, but only a small percentage pass the UPSC exam. A person must dedicate several hours of study time to pass the civil service exam. We'll talk about Gaurav Kaushal today, who used AIR 38 to crack the UPSC but ultimately made a different decision.

 Haryana is the home state of Gaurav Kaul. He finished his education in Panchkula. Afterwards, he was accepted into IIT Delhi after passing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). After a year of study, he made the decision to leave IIT Delhi and attend BITS Pilani to complete his B.Tech in computer science. He again had second thoughts and left the college after a year of the course. He went to Punjab Engineering College this time around in order to earn his B. Tech. He not only passed the SSC CGLE and IIT-JEE exams, but also aced competitive exams like the UPSC Civil Services Exam. 

He achieved the 38th All India Rank (AIR) in the 2012 UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE). After that, he joined the Indian Defence Estates Service (IDES), where his responsibilities included managing military land and overseeing the administrative operations of the Cantonment Board. Afterwards, however, he left his 12-year job to train UPSC candidates.
