Youngsters long to get into IIT and then get lucrative job packages. But some people aren’t driven by monetary things and have meaningful goals and ambition in life, which impacts society and people. 

One such inspiring story is of IAS Ankita Panwar. Belonging to Gosain village in Jind district, Ankita started her UPSC journey after completing her 12th class in Chandigarh with an impressive 97.6 per cent. 

With excellent academic aptitude, she then pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee after passing JEE and then secured a campus placement with a whopping Rs 22 lakh package. 

Despite a successful corporate career spanning two years, Ankita chose to fuel to her passion for civil services, but failed to crack UPSC in first attempt.

Thereafter in 2020, she gave UPSC exam for the second time and got 321st rank, but she had bigger goals. Driven to improve her performance, in her fourth attempt in 2022, she cracked the UPSC exam with an impressive All India Rank of 28.

Apart from her profession, her personal life is also very interesting. She recently got engaged to IPS Ayush Yadav in a private ceremony in Panchkula, Haryana. Ayush is a native of Thathwadi village near Narnaul district and secured an impressive 430th rank in 2021, to become an IPS officer.
