‘I allow few into my drawing room, fewer into my bedroom’

I do not trust easily. I trust only my family. I have had so many people with whom I have worked in close proximity and they have left me and I am like, ‘No way!’ The same applies to my personal life also.

I had fallen in love when I was 25. By 27, I was out of it and my mind was clean and I told myself, ‘NEVER AGAIN.’ Today everybody has become so ambitious, there is no time to think about anything else and there is so little trust between people that you do not want to put emotions on line.

Yes, I don’t trust too many people and with the one or two that I trust, if THAT TRUST BREAKS, I am shattered for life! After that, I will close my doors even more although I am very friendly. I do socialise a lot. I have parties. I go out a lot and I am friendly with a lot of people, but I can’t be friends with everyone.

I have a very simple formula. I have a lot of people who come to my house to party. Very few are allowed into my drawing room. Even fewer are allowed into my bedroom and even fewer from that are allowed into my life, and just one will be allowed into my heart. So I won’t filter on the first level. I don’t clear people, but very few come to the second level and from that very few come out onto the third level.
