While at a few places there has been some damage due to hail storm but a large area in the state is expecting a good crop season of Rabi due to rains.

Farmers say that in this season the crops are getting ripened and therefore with rains there is a good possibility of increase in productivity.  Due to rains, the crops like wheat, mustard and chana, which are grown in ample in state will get better thus increasing production per hectare.

They inform that after the rains there is fog in the environment which is also considered good for crops. As they get nitrogen which is present in natural form in the atmosphere and comes along with dew on the leaves and acts as urea. This increases the growth of the plants and also relieves them of many diseases. Farmers say that wheat crop gives more yield after the rains.
