Thane's Korum mall has arranged an array of exciting games and activities for children for their vacation. Living up to every year's exciting themes, this year too, it has kept the spirit alive with the theme of 'Pirates' for Summer Champs by creating a life-size pirate ship, 32 feet in width, and filled with exhilarating games and activities.

The Summer Champs started on April 27 and will conclude with a grand finale on May 15.

Children as young as six get into their favourite movie character and invade the mall. Two lucky winners will ultimately become the Pirates of Korum and will win a year of school tuition fees.

The Summer Champs will be organised for two different age groups, six to 10 years and 11 to 14 years. This will include various edutainment activities, such as sword fight, jumbo pirate map puzzles, feed the pirate and ring the hook games, face painting, sand sculpting, and crafts with pirate props, storytelling sessions, and bottle art. The parameters on which the children will be judged are intelligence, strength, agility and talent, following which they will qualify for the grand finale.

Speaking about Summer Champs, mall's centre head Gaurav Kumavat said, "Summer Champs has been an important programme, through which we attempt to get the best out of kids by testing their intelligence, creativity and talent. The huge response we received every year from thousands of children instills our confidence in the uniqueness of the programme. We are sure that children and their parents will love this year's theme too and will participate in different activities with enthusiasm."

The mall atrium will make kids feel like true pirates and get into the skin of the characters with creative pirate hangings, which will include shop wheel, treasure box, flags and birds. "We invite kids to participate in this unique event that will help them learn while having fun," Kumavat added.
