Bigg Boss 12: Not Lonavala, Salman Khan to launch the show on a grand scale in Goa this year

The most entertaining, controversial and interesting reality TV show Bigg Boss has become one of the most popular shows on the small screen owing to its format, content and of course because of 'host and dost' Salman Khan.

The 12th season of the show is soon going to be aired and this time the theme of the show is 'jodis' i.e., pairs. 

Since the show is reported to entertain the viewers from September 16, the excitement around the same is quite palpable. 

As the date of the premiere of the show is drawing closer, something new about it is disclosed each day while increasing the excitement quotient everytime.

This time on Bigg Boss 12, yet another surprise is that, for the first time host Salman Khan will be launching the show out of Lonavala. 

Then where is it scheduled?

The press conference is said to be held in the lovely Goa this year.

The reason behind this change in location has not been revealed, but looks like it is more of trying something new than anything else. 

While talking about the same Pinkvilla reported a source saying, “Every year COLORS comes up with unique themes and exciting ideas to launch their marque and beloved show Bigg Boss. This year around also the channel came up with the fun idea of launching the upcoming Bigg boss season 12 in Goa with none other than Salman Khan, the host. The invite too, with it’s beachy feel is a total eye-pleaser and specifies a dress code, calling the invitees in sunny and colorful clothing”.

While talking about the theme of this year's season, it would be interesting to note that the show this time will have three common jodis and three celebrity couples. 

Out of the total of 21 contestants there will be three celebrity jodis and three commoner jodis. The remaining nine contestants (three celebrities and six commoners) will enter as singles and on the day when Salman Khan introduces them for the first time, he shall also pair six of them. The remaining three on, the other hand, will enjoy their lives alone for a few episodes before a twist is introduced!

Not only this, reports also suggest that this time the show will also have two gay partners as contestants.
