Prime Video unveiled the electrifying trailer for the highly anticipated third season of the crime thriller, Mirzapur. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, the series boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik, and Manu Rishi Chadha.
The trailer opens with Guddu Bhaiya (played by Ali Fazal) smashing Tripathi's statue in the heart of a marketplace with a hammer, asserting his authority. Unaware of rival contenders like Vijay Varma's Bharat Tyagi, Guddu sets off a power struggle. Towards the end of the trailer, Tripathi emerges from the shadows, declaring his intent to reclaim the throne and uphold the empire he painstakingly built alongside his late father.
With Season 3, the stakes have gone notches higher and the canvas has become bigger. The ten-episode series will exclusively premiere on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide from 5 July 2024.
