After much anticipation, Nag Ashwin's epic film Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, finally hit the theaters on Thursday. The film's release caused a frenzy, especially in Hyderabad, as excited fans gathered outside theaters, burnt firecrackers, and danced to celebrate the film's release. 

Inside theatres, fans were seen dancing and grooving to celebrate Prabhas' film. Videos of their celebrations have gone viral on social media, it clearly shows their excitement and happiness to watch Prabhas on the big screen once again.

Meanwhile, just a few hours before the epic action sci-fi drama hits the theatres worldwide, the makers made a special request to the fans not to share the spoilers and spoil the experience for the audiences.

The official Instagram page of the movie posted a note with the caption, "Say no to spoilers and piracy. Together, we can keep the magic alive." The note read, "This is a journey of 4 long years and this is the story of immense hard work put in by Nag Ashwin and team. There was no stone unturned in bringing this story to a global scale. There was no looking back or compromising in the quality. Blood and sweat has been put in by the team to bring this forward."

"Let's please respect the cinema, let's respect the craft. It's a humble request to not give out spoilers, give out minute by minute update or indulge in piracy and spoil the experience for the audiences! Let's join hands to safeguard the content of the movie and celebrate the success together. Regards, Vyjayanthi Movies", the note concluded.

Inspired by Indian mythology, Kalki 2898 AD is touted to be the most expensive film in Indian cinema with a whopping budget of Rs 600 crore. Apart from Prabhas, Amitabh, Deepika and Kamal, the much-awaited film also stars Brahmanandam, Shobana, Anna Ben, and Saswata Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
