In an amazing feat that has captivated the fashion world, Delhi influencer Arushi Pahwa has managed to recreate Radhika Merchant’s iconic Haldi dupatta in just 12 hours. The transformation has left viewers in question, especially given the budget-friendly price tag.

It all began with the glamorous Radhika Merchant, whose stunning Haldi ceremony outfit—featuring a lavish floral dupatta—quickly became the talk of the town. Known for her role as an Ambani bride Radhika’s look was both a fashion statement and a symbol of elegance. The original floral dupatta, a highlight of her pre-wedding celebrations, was crafted with marigolds and other vibrant flowers, creating a mesmerising visual impact.

Arushi Pahwa, a fashion and beauty influencer, took on the challenge of replicating this exquisite piece at a fraction of the cost. In her latest Instagram post, Arushi revealed her process, sharing a video titled, “WATCH How I Made Radhika Merchant's Flower Dupatta Under ₹2,000.” The video details her journey from navigating Delhi's markets, such as Chandni Chowk and Moti Nagar, to handpicking flowers from Chattarpur Phool Mandi.

Initially, shopkeepers had quoted her up to ₹15,000 for similar materials and artisanship. However, Arushi, driven by creativity and determination, spent 12 hours crafting the dupatta. She created intricate floral strands using marigolds and other blooms, skillfully replicating the zig-zag pattern of Radhika’s original design.

Radhika’s original Haldi look, styled by Rhea Kapoor, featured the floral dupatta with a simple yellow lehenga by Anamika Khanna, accessorised with floral beaded jewellery. Arushi’s version not only mirrors the beauty of the original but does so at an incredibly accessible price, showcasing her ingenuity and resourcefulness.

Arushi’s effort to recreate this look on a budget highlights a growing trend where fashion meets affordability, leaving fashion enthusiasts both impressed and inspired.
