The grand wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant concluded on Monday (July 15) at the Jio World Drive in Mumbai. The wedding was a spectacular extravaganza with two very opulent pre-wedding festivities in Gujarat's Jamnagar and on a Mediterranean cruise. The wedding festivities spanned four days starting July 12 (Friday), which saw guests from around the country and world grace the occasion.
However, unlike the previous elaborate events, this intimate gathering was dedicated to the Ambani family’s household staff and Reliance employees and the paparazzi. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani delivered speeches at the event. Anant Ambani's newly wedded wife Radhika Merchant expressed her gratitude. "Hello everybody! Aap idhar aaye, humara dil bohot bohot khush kiya. Aap log hi humare liye sabse mahatvapoorn log hain. Aap ke kaaran hum hain. Aapke bina yeh sab bilkul bilkul nahi ho sakta tha (You have made our hearts happy by coming here today. You are the most important people for us. We are who we are because of you. None of this would have been possible without you)," she said.
Anant Ambani also delivered a heartfelt speech, as captured in a now-viral video. It shows Anant beginning his speech with "Jai Shree Ram". “A heartfelt welcome to all of you. We are so grateful that you have come here with your entire families. On behalf of my entire family, I extend a warm welcome to you all. First and foremost, I would like to express my deep gratitude for your efforts in organizing this event for my and Radhika’s wedding. Many employees from Reliance and H.N. Hospital are present here, as well as numerous members of the JWC team. We are deeply thankful to the JWC team, as this entire event has been possible due to their hard work. Let’s give a big round of applause for the JWC team.”
"Everyone present here at Antilia, including our employees and those from Seawind where I grew up, are like family to us. My brothers, sisters, and parents alike appreciate your presence. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, as it is because of you that we remain safe and our home is well-maintained. Many employees from EPG are also here, ensuring our safety, and for that, we are extremely thankful to them and their families. Additionally, numerous officers and soldiers from CRPF are present, and we owe them our deepest gratitude for their constant readiness to sacrifice for our country," he added.
Anant concluded his speech by thanking the Mumbai Police personnel and the media fraternity for their support, stressing their integral role in the family's unity and strength. He invited everyone to stay for the meal and requested blessings for his and Radhika’s future, ending with "Jai Shri Ram".
