She is none other than Bipasha Basu. 

Bipasha Basu was born in Delhi and raised in Kolkata. The actress pursued a successful career as a fashion model and started working at the age of 17. During her teenage, the actress used to face taunts for her dark skin tone. She even revealed that she was called a 'dusky girl' because of her complexion. In 2001, the actress made her grand Bollywood debut in the film Ajnabee which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Bobby Deol. The film turned out to be an average grosser. However, soon her first ever film as a lead actress, Raaz, emerged to be a hit. The film made her a star. In her career, she was known for her work in the thriller and horror genres and for several item numbers and was frequently cited in the media as a sex symbol and a scream queen.

In 14 years of her career in the film industry, the actress has given several hits like Jism, Phir Hera Pheri, Apharan, Race, All The Best, Aatma, and more. However, more than hits, she had flopped. According to Box Office India's report, Bipasha starred in a total of 24 flops in 14 years. Soon after her last film Alone, which also failed at the box office, the actress quit the film industry. The actress got married to her co-star Karan Singh Grover in 2016 and embraced motherhood in 2022 as she welcomed her baby daughter. The actress has been away from the film industry for a long time, however, she still has a reported net worth of Rs 110 crore.
