Bobby Deol, son of Bollywood superstar Dharmendra, has been on cloud nine ever since the success of his film 'Animal' co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. While Bobby Deol has been at the centre of attention for the past few months, there is a lot of intrigue among fans to also know details about his personal life. We are talking about Bobby Deol's wife of 27 years Tanya Deol, who chooses to maintain a low profile.

Bobby Deol and Tanya Deol got married in 1996 and the couple has two sons named Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol. Tanya Deol is the daughter of multi-millionaire Devendra Ahuja, who was the promoter of Centurion Bank and MD of 20th Century Finance company. 

Tanya Deol is a businesswoman who owns a furnishing store and has an estimated net worth of Rs 300 crore. 

Let us tell you that there was an incident in 2001 during the film shoot of 'Ajnabee' where Tanya Deol assisted Bipasha Basu as a costume designer. This did not sit well with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The two then had an altercation where Kareena Kapoor Khan was reportedly slapped by Tanya Deol. The slapping incident was never confirmed by anyone but the existence of the feud was openly acknowledged. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan was once quoted saying, "Actually, there was a problem with his (Bobby Deol) wife, Tanya. She didn’t behave properly with my mother. And I didn’t like that. I don’t deny a problem with Bobby’s wife. But I’m sure my problems with Bobby can be sorted out. There’s no negativity from my end."

Years later, when Imtiaz Ali made the popular film 'Jab We Met', Bobby Deol was replaced by Shahid Kapoor to play the role of Aditya Kashyap. The reasons for the cast change are currently unknown.
