Sanaya Irani once appeared on Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss 7 in its grand finale to promote her show Rangrasiya. The actress had a fun conversation with Salman Khan and during that interaction, Salman asked Sanaya if it was her debut show, to which the actress denied it. After this Salman told the actress that his father is a big fan of her and turned around shyly with a smile.
Sanaya Irani made her acting debut alongside Kajol in the movie Fanaa as Mehbooba. The film also starred Aamir Khan and became a huge hit at the box office. She then did several advertisements with Shah Rukh Khan, and others before entering television. She then made her debut with the show Left Right Left and went on to be a part of other hit shows like Kasamh Se, and Miley Jab Hum Tum. However, she gained immense fame with the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? wherein she romanced Barun Sobti.
