TV star couple Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee are blessed with two daughters, Lianna and Divisha, born in 2022. Their fans love their YouTube vlogs, and it also increased their fanbase. However, a certain section of netizens trolled and criticised the couple for favouring one daughter, being partial to Divisha, and ignoring Lianna.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Gurmeet shared his views about these claims and called trolls 'jobless people' who only know how to spread negativity. In the conversation, he admitted that Debina was affected by negative comments. "Debina certainly feels bad about it. How can people ever imagine that a mother would be partial to one of her kids? Only fools could even think this way. Debina feels bad about it, but I tell her that these people are jobless, they don’t think before posting on social media, and what they say shouldn’t affect our lives."

The Ramayan actor further added that he developed the habit of ignoring negativity and learnt to ignore such hateful comments, Gurmeet chooses to focus on the positive feedback. He said, “Why subject yourself to stuff like that at all?”

In November 2022, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary welcomed their second daughter Divisha. Back then, Gurmeet took to Instagram to share the news with fans and wrote, “Welcome our baby girl into the world. As ecstatic as we are becoming parents again, we appreciate some privacy at this time as our baby has come into the world sooner than due. Keep blessing and showering your continued love."

Even at that time, she was trolled for announcing her 2nd pregnancy four months after Lianna's birth. For the unversed, Debina and Gurmeet fell in love with each other on the sets of the 2008 mythological television series Ramayan, a remake of the classic Ramanand Sagar serial Ramayan broadcast in 1987 on Doordarshan. While Gurmeet played the character of Lord Rama, Debina portrayed the character of Sita in the series that ran for around 18 months. The remake was created by Anand Sagar, Ramanand's son, and aired on the now-defunct NDTV Imagine channel. The two actors tied the knot in February 2011 and also adopted two girls named Pooja and Lata from Jarampur, Gurmeet’s hometown in Bihar in 2017.
