Aadit Palicha is one of the most talked about entrepreneurs in the country right now. He is the co-founder and CEO of quick ecommerce platform Zepto which has raised Rs 5559 crore at a valuation of Rs 30101 crore. Reportedly going for the IPO next year, 23-year-old Aadit Palicha led firm is giving a really tough competition to Mukesh Ambani-backed Dunzo which has been under scrutiny for the past several months. While Blinkit is still the market leader in the segment, Zepto is slowly bridging the gap and a huge credit for that goes to Aadit Palicha. After failing in his initial attempts, Aadit paired up with Kaivalya Vohra to start Zepto in April 2021. Within one month of operation, their valuation zoomed to 200 million dollars.

Born in 2001, Mumbai resident Aadit Palicha was always interested in running his own business and he began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 17. He started a company called GoPool which failed to make a mark. He then went to the United States to study computer science from one of the best universities in the world, Stanford University. However, he dropped the course mid-way to become a businessman.

After dropping out from college, Aadit Palicha launched a company called Kirana Kart with Kaivalya Vohra. It ran only for 10 months. Later, he got the idea to build a company that can provide groceries within 10-16 minutes and that’s how Zepto was born.

"Was supposed to get a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, but I decided to build Zepto instead," he quipped on LinkedIn. If reports are to be believed, Aadit Palicha currently has a net worth of more than Rs 1200 crore.
