This female millionaire is Ranveer Singh's business partner, rejected Rs 1 crore job offer to build Rs 300 crore firm

Ranveer Singh is one of the most successful and wealthiest actors in Bollywood, and a lot of his net worth is built through strategic investments and businesses. One of his most famous and profitable business investments was in Sugar Cosmetics, founded by entrepreneur Vineeta Singh.

Ranveer Singh’s business partner and Sugar Cosmetics founder Vineeta Singh is termed as one of the most successful female entrepreneurs in the country, she built a massive beauty brand with next to nothing, taking it to a new height each year.

Vineeta Singh is an IIT Madras graduate who plans of starting her own lingerie company after earning her engineering degree. Singh decided to learn more about how big companies operate by opting for an internship at the Deutsche Bank for three months.

Impressed by her performance as an intern, the Deutsche Bank decided to offer Vineeta a job with a salary package of Rs 1 crore. However, the entrepreneur rejected this offer and decided to start her own company, building a cosmetics brand.

At the start of her business Sugar Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh revealed in an interview that she used to live in a flat “the size of a matchbox”, which used to routinely flood every time it rained in Mumbai. Initially, Sugar Cosmetics only sold products through its website.

However, Vineeta’s business soon grew after raising millions of dollars in funds, taking her cosmetic company to a new height. In the year 2022, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh also decided to invest in the company owing to its success, taking it to a whole new level.

Now, Vineeta Singh’s Sugar Cosmetics has a revenue of over Rs 300 crore, and the entrepreneur’s own net worth is Rs 310 crore.

Ranveer Singh has invested in multiple startup companies over the years, leading to a growth in his net worth, which currently stands at over Rs  365 crore.
