Yashasvi Jaiswal made history by hitting 12 runs off the very first ball of the Indian innings during the fifth T20I match against Zimbabwe on Sunday. Sikandar Raza bowled a high full-toss to start the game, and Jaiswal confidently smashed it over deep square-leg for a six. The umpire signaled a no-ball, giving India a free-hit. Jaiswal then hit the next delivery for another six, this time a length delivery straight down the ground. In just one legal delivery, India scored 13 runs, with Jaiswal becoming the first cricketer to achieve this feat in a men's T20I match.

Sanju Samson scored 58 runs off 45 deliveries and formed a 65-run partnership with the young Riyan Parag, who contributed 22 runs. This impressive display helped India surpass the century mark after a shaky start that saw them at 40/3 in the fifth over.

Sanju Samson's resilient half-century was instrumental in India achieving a total of 167 for 6 in 20 overs, following their decision to bat first. 

India secured a commanding victory over Zimbabwe by 42 runs in the fifth and final T20I held in Harare, ultimately claiming the series with a 4-1 win on Sunday. Mukesh Kumar delivered an outstanding performance, achieving his career-best T20I figures of 4 for 22. This exceptional display of skill led to Zimbabwe being dismissed for a total of 125 runs in just 18.3 overs.
