The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) exam is undoubtedly one of the toughest examinations in the country with lakhs of candidates aspiring to become an IAS, an IPS or an IFS officer each year. However, only a few hundred actually get to live that dream thanks to their teachers and guides.
Today, we are going to introduce to you Shubhra Ranjan, a teacher who has helped IAS toppers such as Tina Dabi, Riya Dabi, Ishita Kishore and several others to successfully crack the UPSC exam.
Who is Shubhra Ranjan?
Shubhra Ranjan belongs to Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh and teaches Political Science and International Relations. Shubhra Ranjan is the founder of Shubhra IAS Institute. She was a topper in Delhi University (DU) and has taught at DU for a few years. Other members of Shubhra Ranjan's family are also in the teaching profession.
According to Shubhra Ranjan, she started teaching over 15 years ago. Shubhra Ranjan was selected for UP Higher Commission and has taught in some schools in Uttar Pradesh as well.

Apart from toppers Ishita Kishore and Tina Dabi, others such as Kanika Goyal, and Gunjan Dwivedi also passed the UPSC exam after studying classes from Shubhra Ranjan.
UPSC 2022 topper Ishita Kishore joined the 'Core Political Science' course in 2019 under the guidance of Shubhra Ranjan. Besides Ishita, Tina Dabi AIR 1 2015, Anmol Singh Bedi AIR 2 2016, Dinesh Kumar AIR 6 2016, Anand Vardhan AIR 7 2016, Girish Badole AIR 30 2017, Gunjan Dwivedi AIR 9 2018, Tripti Dhodmis AIR 16 2018, Vishakha Yadav AIR 6 019, Satyam Gandhi AIR 10 2020, Riya Dabi AIR 15 2020 are some of the notable names who have received guidance from Shubhra Ranjan.
