Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) exam is without doubt one of the toughest exams in the world and every year lakhs of students appear in UPSC exam each year with an aim to crack the exam and become IAS officer but only a few hundred of them succeed in clearing the UPSC exam. UPSC aspirants take guidance from teachers to crack the UPSC exam and there are some teachers who are known across India for providing good guidance to the UPSC aspirants. In this article, we will talk about a teacher named Shubhra Ranjan, who has helped IAS toppers like Tina Dabi and Ishita Kishore to crack the UPSC exam.
Shubhra Ranjan is a very popular teacher and she teaches important subjects like Political Science, International Relations. Shubhra Ranjan is also the founder of Shubhra IAS Institute. Shubhra Ranjan hails from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh. The other family members of Shubhra Ranjan are also in the teaching profession. She herself was a topper in Delhi University (DU) and has taught in DU for a few years.
Shubhra Ranjan was selected for UP Higher Commission and has taught in some schools in UP too. She has never appeared in UPSC exam because according to Shubhra, UPSC exam never attracted her. Apart from toppers Ishita Kishore and Tina Dabi, Kanika Goyal, Gunjan Dwivedi, etc also passed the UPSC exam after studying under the guidance of Shubhra Ranjan.
According to Shubhra Ranjan, she started teaching over 15 years ago. It is to be noted that two UPSC aspirants Ishita Kishore and Tina Dabi, who are taught by her, have topped the UPSC exam. UPSC 2022 topper Ishita Kishore had joined the 'Core Political Science' course in 2019 under the guidance of Shubhra Ranjan. Besides Ishita, Tina Dabi AIR 1 2015, Anmol Singh Bedi AIR 2 2016, Dinesh Kumar AIR 6 2016, Anand Vardhan AIR 7 2016, Girish Badole AIR 30 2017, Gunjan Dwivedi AIR 9 2018, Tripti Dhodmis AIR 16 2018, Vishakha Yadav AIR 6 019, Satyam Gandhi AIR 10 2020, Riya Dabi AIR 15 2020 are some of the notable names who have received guidance from Shubhra Ranjan.
