UPSC releases marks of civil services examination - Here's how much topper Shubham Kumar scored

The results of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) have been released and the nation knows the toppers of the civil services exams for the year. Now, the UPSC has released the detailed marks scored by candidates, and the same can be checked by students, who appeared for the exams, on the official website, at upsc.gov.in. 

The civil services exam topper, Shubhak Kumar got the final score of 1054, while the second topper, Jagrati Awasthi scored 1052, marking the difference of only two marks between the first and the second topper.

This year, a total of 761 candidates have been selected for an appointment with top marks obtained by Shubham Kumar, who hails from Bihar's Katihar. Kumar is an IIT-Bombay alumnus and he cleared the exam, topping it in his second attempt. He had appeared for the civil services exam in 2019 and had obtained 290th rank.
